Shigiya GPH 30(40) Series
The GPH-30B series has been designed and manufactured according to the latest technological requirements in order to meet the needs of the various customers both in the tool making and in the small-medium production.
Its versatility, easy programming thanks to the Shigiya interactive programming system, Fanuc CNC, possibility of using it in manual mode with the classic handwheels, and the various options available, make GPH-30B one of the most effective solutions for both single piece and small-medium batch grinding, an easy-to-use tool designed according to the operator’s needs.
Productivity is further improved thanks to an interactive programming system that allows the rapid implementation of both single and multi-diameter grinding programs and automatic in- or out-of-cycle grinding with wheel wear compensation.
The high-rigidity grinding wheel-holding head is made of high quality cast iron, it houses the grinding wheel-holding spindle, slides on a flat guideway coated with anti-friction PTFE material to ensure small increments and high rigidity and on a fixed base it does not allow angular adjustment.
The axial movement is activated by a ball screw, combined with a servo motor and the axis position is controlled by an optical scale.
The spindle bearing lubrication unit, which is separate from the rest of the machine, prevents heat loss in the head due to increased oil temperature. The grinding wheel will not start if there is no confirmation of oil circulation in the bearings.
As an option it is possible to equip the machine with an internal grinding unit to be installed on the grinding wheel head.
The table is supported in its movement by large flat section guides covered with anti-friction PTFE material.
A recirculating ball screw activates the movement, it is driven by a special servo motor and controlled by an encoder; as an option it is possible to mount an optical scale for position control.
It is equipped with a fixed centre, does not allow any tilting and guarantees high rigidity and very low vibrations.
